PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING FLOWERS:
Julia and James were married during May this year at Packington Moor Farm one of our regular wedding venues. At our consultation we discussed the overall look they were trying to achieve, Julia and James wanted a relaxed feel using soft pastel pink and dusky pink roses with natural style in keeping with their rustic venue.
Here at Passion for Flowers we helped Julia and James decide on the mix of flowers which were to be used though out the day. The main flowers we used were Avalanche roses, Sweet Avalanche roses, Memory Lane roses, spray roses, white lisianthus, freesias, wax flower and eucalyptus.
THE BRIDAL BOUQUET
Julia’s wedding bouquet was a natural hand tied mix of the flowers of the day, we kept to a rounded shape creating texture with the wax flower and grey green eucalyptus. Her bouquet handle was finished off with rustic twine.
PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING CEREMONY FLOWERS
Unfortunately we have no photos of the ceremony set up at Packington Moor for Julia and James’ wedding. We used two of our 5′ high silver candelabra with a full floral arrangement either side of the aisle which were later moved to either end of the top table. On the ceremony table we placed one of the footed bowls which later was transferred to one of the guest tables.
PACKINGTON MOOR WEDDING RECEPTION FLOWERS
The reception was held in the Malt Barn, a stunning room within the barn with wooden beams, exposed brickwork and lovely natural light. For the tables we went with two different table centres alternating on different tables. For the lower style of arrangement we created a natural look in our footed bowls, the bowl was lined with moss and then a round mix of soft pastel pink roses, dusky pink roses, ivory roses, as well as lisiathus, rose buds and eucalyptus.
The other guest tables had taller centrepieces. We used our 1m high silver candelabra on these tables, the candelabra created a real wow factor when guests entered the room. Again we used a similar mix of flowers on the candelabra as had been used throughout the day to coordinate the whole look.
Julia and James had made their own place cards using brown luggage tags and pegged these onto guests napkins with white heart pegs. These are available from our sister company, don’t forget Passion for Flowers brides get 10% discounts from The Wedding of my Dreams.
